Wonga Ubuntu Connect Initiative

At Wonga Technologies, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed in a digitally connected world. The Wonga Ubuntu Connect Initiative was born from a deep commitment to uplifting our communities by supporting education through reliable internet access.

For many schools, connectivity is the bridge between limitation and possibility. Through this initiative, we provide stable, affordable, and dependable internet solutions that empower educators to teach with confidence and enable learners to access online resources, research tools, and digital learning platforms that expand their horizons.

Our mission goes beyond technology. It is about opening doors, creating opportunity, and investing in the future of South Africa — one school, one learner, and one community at a time.

Our Goal

Our goal is to connect 500 schools by 2028, ensuring that learners across South Africa have access to the digital resources they need to thrive.

This initiative reflects our belief that when education is supported, communities thrive.

“Until all schools are connected.”
